The mechanical and metallurgical properties of workpieces finished by cladding are determined to a large extent by three factors: the dilution, the nature of the filler metal and the quality of the depot. Specialised software allows the specified welding parameters to be respected during the cladding operation, e.g. movements of torches and workpieces, welding current intensities and wire feeding speed, just to name a few. Furthermore, the software allows the different functions to be synchronised during the cladding operation.
